New Personal Account, Swan Vault on Mobile App, and Withdrawals to Self-Custody

We are excited to share the latest improvements to the Swan Bitcoin mobile app, streamlining your Bitcoin buying and storage experience. Let’s take a look at a few recent updates.

Check Your New Personal Account

We’ve increased the maximum daily limit for ACH purchases, and we’re excited to roll out more improvements and new features soon.

New to Swan? Your account is already benefiting from these improvements. Long-time client? Check your app. You now have new Personal accounts with these benefits.

Open Your Swan Vault

You can now get started with Swan Vault from the mobile app. You can include concierge onboarding and welcome packages, or bring your own Jades to set it up yourself.

Setting up your Swan Vault on a computer takes only a few minutes, and you can enjoy higher Bitcoin security for a lifetime.

Withdraw to Your Swan Vault and View Your Balance

Moving Bitcoin to your Swan Vault is now effortless. You can withdraw to your Vault after unlock times or set up automatic withdrawals in the app. Automatic withdrawals to Vault are the most seamless self-custody process, with a new address being used without any manual steps. Reminder that we recommend setting automatic withdrawals at appropriate amounts.

Following setup, your Swan Vault is visible within the Swan app along with ongoing education in the Learn tab.

Protect Yourself from Scams

When you add a new withdrawal address, we’ll remind you that Swan never asks you to send Bitcoin to a specific address. We also include a list of recent phishing attempts. Once a Bitcoin transaction is on the blockchain, it’s irreversible. Be wary of emails, texts, or calls asking for sensitive info or urgent action.

Join the International Waitlist

Not in the U.S.? You can now join the waitlist for your country through the app and we will be onboarding new clients from new countries over time.

What’s Next?

We continue to build for resiliency and new features are coming to your new Personal account. Swan Vault is now open to all clients after months of early access. And thanks to a new partnership with Equity Trust, we’re preparing to launch new IRA account types.
